Like Father, Like Son
The love of the home building industry runs deep through Jason White's veins. As the youngest son of W. Howard White, former owner of North Florida Builders, Jason White knew that starting his own custom home building company was only natural. White learned early on what it takes to be a successful homebuilder by simply watching and working for his father. "I learned so many things from my Dad, he has incredible work ethic. But the simplest yet most profound lesson I learned was to do things right the first time. That was the North Florida Builder's way of doing business." Now, White is taking that lesson and applying it to his own operation -formerly known as JW Custom Homes, but now operating under the North Florida Builders name.
At the age of 14, White began working for his father by sweeping houses under construction and through the years learned the ropes of the industry. "When I was 19 years old I came on board as a full time employee," White said, "I started off as an assistant project manager and worked my way through purchasing and other departments." White ended up as the Quality Control Manager at North Florida Builders - responsible for each home from start of construction through warranty. Through his tenure at North Florida Builders he gained valuable and practical knowledge of every aspect of the business from dirt to dollars. As Quality Control Manager, White experienced the highs and lows with homebuyers going through the building process. These experiences and his responses to them are what help set North Florida Builders apart from his competition. "Building a home can be an emotional and challenging process. That's why we're focused on keeping it small - staying focused on the customer, their needs, wants and desires." White is a full custom home builder, offering an impressive assortment of of home designs. His clients are able to meet with him personally for a consultation, draw out their dream home or alter any of his designs. "We are adamant about building every house as if it were our own," White said, "while also building and maintaining personal customer relationships."
North Florida Builders is currently building in Magnolia Preserve in the exquisite Plantation Estates community in Julington Creek and Worthington Park, an exceptional community off S.R. 13, both of which are gated and in St. Johns County. Our portfolio designs include many decorative upgrades that are offered as standard options including full size upper kitchen cabinets, decorative crown moulding, granite kitchen countertops and upgraded flooring. North Florida Builders home designs are currently priced from the low 300's including lot, ranging from 2414 square feet to 4500.

Key Staff
Teresa Wright
Teresa Wright has been in custom home sales since 2004, and with North Florida Builders since 2008. Prior to her career change into real estate, she worked in marketing and business management positions in the investment and maritime industries. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Teresa has lived in the Atlanta, Washington DC and Raleigh areas before arriving in Jacksonville in 1997. She is a current member of National Association of Realtors, NEFAR, Women's Council of Realtors, a past board member of WCR (2010) and Braywick Homeowners' Association; and a past member of CPAC of Jacksonville.
Teresa thrives on North Florida Builders' quality, value, and its flexibility for the customer to choose how their home is designed and appointed. "Your home is your sanctuary, and it should reflect the buyer's needs and wants."
Robert Milligan
Robert Milligan has a long history with the White family. As Superintendent, Robert brings more than 30 years of experience to the North Florida Builders team. He started as the warranty service representative for North Florida Builders under Howard White, and was quickly promoted to Superintendent. During his tenure as Superintendent, Robert learned how to schedule and build homes from start to finish with quality construction at the forefront of each project. Robert says the most gratifying part of his job is working with the homebuyer. "There are several steps to the home building process. Walking the homebuyer through each process and seeing their dream become a reality is very exciting."
Robert has two grown sons. When he's not on the construction site hard at work, he enjoys fishing, four wheeling and camping. He's always working on projects ranging from remodeling his own home to working on his Jeep.
